ARTS CONSULTANCY

Welcome to my website.  It is a place where I share cultural research and mapping projects, cultural reviews, and other open source cultural consultancy.  It is also a portfolio to showcase my passion for art, and some of the work I do for clients who share the same values.

I am an Art Historian and Production Accountant with almost 30 years’ experience.

I spent the early part of my career working with some of Ireland’s most prestigious and innovative cultural organisations including The National Gallery of Ireland, TEAM Theatre, Draíocht Arts Centre, Graphic Studio Dublin and the Dublin International Film Festival.

In recent years I have worked as Finance Director of OBFA Architects, a small practice based in Dublin specialising in innovative design with a social conscience.  At OBFA I have led cultural projects in the Practice including research and feasibility for clients including The Arts Council, NCAD, Project Arts Centre and a number of Local Authorities from 2016 until 2025.

My recent work assists clients to complete audits of cultural infrastructure (planning, funding, management and governance).  I have included some of these in the services page.

I teach Finance on the MA in Cultural Policy and Arts Management in University College Dublin, on the MSc in Arts and Cultural Management at Burgundy School of Business in Dijon, France, and on the PDP Courses of the European College of Business Management UK.
